Even though I did not get to bake them personally...
Even though my drawing sucks...
Even though I brought two candles but lost one of the candle holders, such that you guys had to recycle the candle holder...
Even though we could not find the ham...
I did go back to look for the ham...
I did bring the candles and matches, and sparklers even...
I did draw a nice crown and a nice star and a passable Mickey...
I did decorate the cupcakes, make the sandwiches and get the boxes to bring them in...
So dear girls, fault me not on my lack of artistic ability and clumsy mistakes anymore, k? Hope you had a great birthday celebration and a great year to come!
Twenty-three. It isn't one of the big numbers that we all love to celebrate. It's not a Sweet 16, an Exciting 18, nor a Forever 21... Still, 23 is one of my favourite numbers, and I sincerely hope that it will be a less tiresome year. If 22 was a year full of changes, let 23 be the year that, with its new beginnings, brings us good fortune and luck.
For you, and I, and all of us celebrating the minor 23 this year.
