of green cotton buds and ants in the vast blue sky

So I finally went to the beach to 散心 on Friday. God knows i've needed a trip long enough. And it was a trip well worth it. Muiz and i had a mini-picnic, which i had to make on the spot because all the mayonnaise in my house was expired. Oops! We took a ton of photos, and all these was before we attempted to build sandcastles and went a little crazy.

We debated over who was more suitable to play the role of the girl on our beach date, thus the row of 大頭 photos you see at the bottom. The conclusion? Muiz is still more suitable as the girl.

Before taking any close-ups, we had to blot our oily faces. (Contrast with the kids playing in the sand and the ocean and you'll know how odd we look...)

And maybe it was because the photos at the bridge to the Southernmost Point of Asia reminded us of Sydney too much.
Or maybe the bridge across to the Southernmost was a path to an island that defied logic and rationality.

Whatever the case, the moment we attempted to build our sandcastles, we were totally gone.

As we were long past our childhood and couldn't remember how to build a proper sandcastle, we had to settle for a sand tortoise and a sand snowman.

And when even the sand snowman collapsed *stares at muiz*, we had to settle for a sand tortoise and errm.. its pile of shit. Hahaha!

And then we were gone... You wouldn't believe the craziness the two of us can get up to. It's inexplicable, the crazy shit we get up to, when usually we're so “demure”!

Yes, the tortoise shit somehow evolved into Muiz’s shit instead. Hahaha!
And then we decided we had to have a tortoise ride as well…

After which, muiz decided we had to have photos looking like we’re in the ocean (as though the sand wasn’t enough to prove we’re at the beach?) We proceeded to have dinner at Sakae’s where we got up to more craziness and stupid poses and then it was off to see the Musical Fountain! Which we somehow managed to miss... all but the last 1 minute, that is. sigh.

Two girls, a sand tortoise, and lots of crazy shit. Plus a cute little boy, some regrets at missing the Fountain again, and two tired and dirty girls are on their way back home.

There was one more little surprise awaiting this girl at home though. By now, you guys should know the cloth patterns of my sofa very well. I take all photos of gifts there. Haha.

=) Like I always say, my dearest 天屎 is the best!
謝謝妳,陪我度過這散心之日.

The other day, I discovered that in auntie's eyes, muiz and i have these words written on our foreheads.

It all started with that k**** friend of muiz's. For some warped reason, she thinks just cos he's weird and i'm weird that we'll make a good pair and should go on a date to *drumrolls* ....of all places, the cemetery. See what stupid ideas she has?
And cos recently her mum has been thinking that she herself makes quite a good match with k****, having this (pretty good) notion that muiz likes rich guys, muiz told her mum about how she was reserving Mr K for me. And her mum went "啊?! 她不是喜歡帥哥的嗎?"
"伯母!你真了解我!"
Sigh. And that was how we discovered that we have "shallow" and "materialistic" written on our foreheads...
